Employment Status 

As with our tax team we also provide advice and representation on the issue of employment status in connection to the employment law jurisdiction.

Problems can arise when subcontractors engaged by companies decide after the event that they believe that they were actually ‘employed’ and then make a claim in the Employment Tribunal for a whole host of employment rights.  A first defence in these matters is that the individual was not an employee and therefore not entitled to make a claim in the employment Tribunal.

Accountax are the employment status experts both in the Tax Tribunal and the Employment Tribunal.  You cannot afford to leave your Tribunal defence to advisors that are not experts in employment status.  If you handle the employment status issue poorly you will end up paying out for holiday pay, notice and for other employment rights.

Don’t leave an issue as important as employment status to advisors that have no track record in it.
